[15:55:35] <wiesand> Had a bad week, and a particularly bad day. I'm here, but have nothing to report and shall refrain from speaking up as much as I can.
[15:55:58] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> My condolences.  I hope the weekend will be refreshing, at least.
[15:56:29] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I also had something of a bad week, though I did just barely manage to
get a few things done.
[15:56:50] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I have another meeting at the top of the (next) hour, but it sounds
like we are not going to be pushing into that...
[16:00:49] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Yadav reports that he won't be able to make it.
[16:01:14] <meffie> should be a fast meeting, i have not much to say.
[16:02:23] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I got a very confusing notification from a Debian automated system
that openafs 1.8.6-2 was scheduled for autoremval from testing (with
a pointer to the -fcommon build fallout that the -2 was supposed to
fix) at almost exactly the same time that I got a different mail
noting that 1.8.6-2 had migrated to testing.  I think this means I hit
a race condition in the automated tools!
[16:03:14] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> As far as master goes, I think we are at the point where getting 1.9.0
out is the next thing to do (and I'm going to try to hold off on
merging other things until it's tagged, even if I give +2s).
[16:03:37] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I saw that Mike +1'd 14343 just a few minutes ago, which is helpful
[16:03:51] <meffie> thanks Ben!
[16:04:12] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> So I think my paln there is to merge that (and 14344), tag locally,
and do a bit of final local testing.
[16:04:40] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I have a saved copy of "how to test rxgk" notes that Cheyenne had run
through some time ago, but IIRC I still have to write a release
announcement blurb.
[16:05:47] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> I also wanted to thank Mark for preparing the 'vol-update-locking'
topic and refreshing 'afs-dir-pkg'.
[16:06:16] <meffie> he is out of the office today, but i will let him know. thanks
[16:06:31] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Thanks!
[16:06:38] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> And that may be all I have for today
[16:07:54] <meffie> i dont think i have anything to report. i'm behind on gerrit reviews, i'll try to catch up.
[16:08:20] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Okay, thanks.
[16:08:38] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Shall we adjourn, then?
[16:08:44] <meffie> a pushed a new branch the openafs-contrib "openafs-robotest" robotframework based smoke tests.
[16:09:06] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Ah, that's good to know.
[16:09:19] <wiesand> +1 on getting 1.9.0 tagged and published
[16:09:31] <meffie> it's a change to add something called ansible molecule to very easily spin up a test cell
[16:09:33] <wiesand> +1 on "adjourn" too
[16:09:49] <wiesand> sorry for my mood today
[16:10:00] <meffie> no worries, hope the weekend is better
[16:10:21] <wiesand> can't possibly be worse
[16:10:42] <kaduk@jabber.openafs.org/barnowl> Okay.  Thanks everyone, and have a good weekend!
[16:10:50] <meffie> ok, thanks!
[16:10:54] <wiesand> Thanks. Bye.
