[14:00:12] <meffie> greetings
[14:00:53] <wiesand> Hello
[14:02:02] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> howdy
[14:03:21] <wiesand> Another week gone by w/o much action. Mea culpa.
[14:04:06] <wiesand> I just pulled up 12587, to go into 1.6.20.2
[14:04:22] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> We had local elections yesterday, which threw me off a day (normally
monday gets IETF stuff, tuesday AFS), so maybe more will happen
tonight from me
[14:04:24] <wiesand> And I think at this point we should wait for the linux411-alt stack
[14:04:30] <wiesand> It looks fairly close
[14:04:38] <meffie> nice
[14:05:03] <meffie> nice, for 12587
[14:05:58] <meffie> yes, 4.11 is at rc4. not sure if there will be another rc. anyone know?
[14:06:33] <wiesand> rc5 even
[14:07:23] <wiesand> rc6 is very likely
[14:08:22] <meffie> ok.
[14:08:24] <wiesand> worst case they change something breaking us last minute, but it doesn't make much of a difference
[14:09:25] <wiesand> But there's a good chance that we'd be ok for 4.11 if we include those 3 changes, two of which already have a +2 review
[14:10:11] <wiesand> And I'd want to release 1.6.21 fairly quickly anyway, so additional 4.11 changes could go in there just as well.
[14:10:33] <wiesand> So that's my plane, unless there are objections
[14:10:45] <meffie> sounds good.
[14:10:58] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> Let me look at the last 411-alt one real quick
[14:10:58] <wiesand> er, plan
[14:11:07] <wiesand> ben: thanks :)
[14:13:29] <meffie> wiesand: we may have some ubik fixes for 1.6.21
[14:13:42] <wiesand> some more?
[14:14:06] <meffie> and ben will want them for 1.8.0, where it's much easier to trigger.
[14:14:51] <meffie> yes, i believe this is an old bug, not a regression.
[14:15:27] <meffie> not a data corruption, but a problem with quorum.
[14:16:38] <wiesand> if it touches vote.c, make sure you place it on top of 12516 if you pull it up
[14:17:34] <meffie> ok
[14:18:01] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> Have some 4.11 bits to cherry-pick
[14:18:14] <wiesand> Thanks Ben :)
[14:19:05] <meffie> yay.
[14:19:15] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> (I go poof in 10 minutes, FWIW, not that we are looking to be on track
to need that much more time.)
[14:19:18] <wiesand> dang, there goes my excuse …
[14:19:25] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> :-P
[14:19:57] <wiesand> I think we're done with 1.6 for now. Want to use your 10m for 1.8?
[14:20:18] <meffie> ben, quick question about the buildbot
[14:20:28] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> sure
[14:20:43] <meffie> we currently have the config set to: Buildbot URL: http://buildbot.openafs.org:8010/
[14:21:03] <meffie> which i think is old. can i change that to https://buildbot.openafs.org ?
[14:21:14] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> I believe that will work, yes.
[14:21:15] mvita leaves the room
[14:21:20] <meffie> ok, thanks.
[14:21:42] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> People using browsers that don't support SNI ... shouldn't.
[14:23:28] <meffie> ok, thanks.
[14:23:55] <wiesand> Anything else to discuss today?
[14:24:26] <meffie> that's all i have today.
[14:24:43] <wiesand> Let's adjourn then. Thanks a lot!
[14:24:50] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> Did you have any time to look at the weird caching bug with 1.8?
[14:25:00] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> (I assume not; just wanted to check.)
[14:25:04] <meffie> yes, but no results yet.
[14:25:09] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> Okay, thanks.
[14:25:15] <kadukoafs@gmail.com/barnowl538BDB78> And thanks everyone for being here
[14:31:35] <wiesand> 4.1-alt pullups are 12588..12590
