[13:59:05] <mvita> stephan:  I was mistaken, my meeting is not until 10:30
[13:59:23] <stephan.wiesand> Ah, good. Hello Mark.
[13:59:55] <stephan.wiesand> I guess this will be a brief one.
[14:00:57] <stephan.wiesand> Probably not much to talk about, probably few participants, and my laptop's battery is down to 53% already.
[14:01:07] <stephan.wiesand> Pity, such a nice place for a meeting: https://www-zeuthen.desy.de/~wiesand/seydisfjordur15.jpg
[14:02:06] <stephan.wiesand> I have confirmation from Marc that we should be ok for Linux 4.2 final.
[14:02:29] <mvita> is that a quarry/stone mill in the background?
[14:03:30] <stephan.wiesand> Hm, not a mill. I'm not sure what youm mean (and what a quarry is).
[14:04:45] <mvita> oh - a mine for stone, and the "mill" would break up the stone into usable products - gravel, stone dust, etc
[14:04:48] <meffie> looks like a person leaning on some rocks.
[14:05:10] <stephan.wiesand> In the right part of the picture, not that far away, that's a monument / piece of art.
[14:05:13] <mvita> Oh, I see, my scale was all off.
[14:05:38] <mvita> once I zoomed in I see what it really is
[14:05:42] <stephan.wiesand> And yes, that's a person leaning over it.
[14:06:20] <mvita> see, if you'd posted in 3D, this would never have happened.
[14:06:27] <stephan.wiesand> The picture was taken from inside the car, so it's not that great.
[14:06:38] <stephan.wiesand> I'll work on that (3d) ;-)
[14:08:27] <stephan.wiesand> So  all we need for 1.6.14.1 is either some review of the two open changes (11993, 11982) or me merging them w/o review...
[14:08:42] <stephan.wiesand> And then I could ask Daria for the tag.
[14:09:14] <stephan.wiesand> I have two boring days on the ship ahead of me, so I should get that done, and the announcement, web change etc.
[14:10:46] <stephan.wiesand> Marc also said that Linux 4.3-rc1 seems not to require any changes on our side.
[14:11:19] <stephan.wiesand> So chances are we can have a 1.6.15 release w/o that Linux treadmill :)
[14:11:28] <mvita> in 11982, what does the "d1" do in the MacOS version?
[14:11:57] <stephan.wiesand> The commit message should explain that.
[14:12:14] <mvita> oh, sorry.
[14:12:18] <stephan.wiesand> Limitations of "legal" OS X release numbers.
[14:13:18] <stephan.wiesand> I'm carrying that over from the last point release before I started dealing with this. It may be wrong or no longer necessary...
[14:14:30] <meffie> seems reasonable to me.
[14:15:13] <stephan.wiesand> Thanks for the +1.
[14:15:31] <stephan.wiesand> Regarding NEWS, I just followed Ben's proposal.
[14:15:43] <stephan.wiesand> Oh, hello Mike.
[14:18:13] <stephan.wiesand> Thanks, I think we now have hat we need to get 1.6.14.1 done.
[14:18:16] <meffie> hello.
[14:18:36] <meffie> great!
[14:19:50] <stephan.wiesand> Anything else for today?
[14:20:08] <meffie> i have nothing new
[14:20:54] <stephan.wiesand> If not, I think I'll go catch my ship. (It's on the picture)
[14:21:06] <meffie> good luck! have fun.
[14:21:09] <mvita> Bon Voyage!
[14:21:19] meffie leaves the room
[14:21:23] <stephan.wiesand> Thanks.
[14:21:27] <stephan.wiesand> Goodbye.

[14:21:35] mvita leaves the room
