[14:59:09] <wiesand> [breathes heavily]
[14:59:23] <meffie> hi wiesand
[14:59:29] <meffie> are you ok?
[14:59:41] Marc Dionne joins the room
[14:59:47] <wiesand> I’m fine. Just had to hurry a bit.
[15:00:36] <wiesand> Hello all.
[15:00:41] <shadow@gmail.com/barnowlE5B64A04> hi. more or less.
[15:01:10] <wiesand> More or less present?
[15:01:22] <wiesand> Or more or less hi?
[15:02:20] <wiesand> This could mean both. Well.
[15:02:30] <wiesand> Marc, any bad Linux 3.18 news?
[15:02:38] <Marc Dionne> not so far
[15:03:01] <Marc Dionne> still good.  i noticed that fedora just got a 3.17 kernel update btw
[15:03:04] <wiesand> Good. I think we’re still on track for 1.6.11pre1 “soon” then.
[15:04:16] <wiesand> Now if we just had a bit more review of the changes foreseen to go in...
[15:04:56] <wiesand> Most have a single +1 yet. There have been complaints in the past when I merged something like that...
[15:06:11] <wiesand> Mike, any idea why the  acinclude.m4 whitespace errors in the Mavericks change were no problem, but those in the Yosemite change are?
[15:07:30] <meffie> sorry, i dont. i spent a few hours last friday night trying to sort it out.
[15:08:01] <meffie> it's something strange with ksh93 on that particular host.
[15:08:03] <wiesand> Fixing it certainly is good. Just curious.
[15:09:06] <meffie> yes, it bothers me, because i suspect it will be a problem again. maybe we are at the edge of some condition in the shell that triggers a bug.
[15:10:23] <wiesand> I’m really wondering whether the yosemite packaging change makes any sense (11572).
[15:11:41] <meffie> would the acinclude.m4 split up you'd like to see would be for 1.8.x or 1.6.x?
[15:12:10] <wiesand> Whenever it’s feasible.
[15:12:24] <wiesand> Is it feasible at all?
[15:13:21] <wiesand> If it’s just for 1.8+, ti would still help.
[15:13:31] <meffie> i'd think we make per platform macros in cf/*
[15:14:49] <wiesand> I’m quite unfamiliar with autoconf and whether the single acinclude.m4 is “a standard”. So if it’s a bad idea, ok.
[15:16:24] <meffie> oh, i assume we'd keep acinclude.m4, but move platform specific bits to macros in other files.
[15:17:04] <wiesand> Sounds good  to me.
[15:17:38] <meffie> i can take a look sometime tonight.
[15:18:07] <wiesand> If you think it’s worth your time, thanks.
[15:18:34] <meffie> sounds fun :)
[15:19:24] <wiesand> Great :)
[15:20:14] <wiesand> I think there’s not much more to discuss that’s on the agenda. No Ben, no 1.8.
[15:20:23] <wiesand> Anything else you’d like to dicuss?
[15:21:15] <meffie> my backlog of old gerrits is slowly getting smaller. i'm trying to focus on that lately.
[15:21:44] <wiesand> Good. Fodder for 1.6.12...
[15:21:51] <meffie> yes, or 1.8.x
[15:22:04] <wiesand> Of course.
[15:22:15] <wiesand> Whenever...
[15:23:45] <wiesand> Ok. If there’s nothing else, thanks a lot for being here today.
[15:24:11] <wiesand> Goodbye.
