I have one in \WinDDK\... and a couple in \Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\... but I guess they aren't getting picked up. Is this a common 'gotcha'? [11:30:21] The setenv.cmd from both v6.1 and v7.0 of the windows sdk (that I could find) are telling me that "the x86 compilers are not currently installed" (the v7.1 sdk does not). Is http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3138 the right source for the v7.0 SDK? Dropping down to AFSVER_CL=1400 "fixes" it, but it's another thing to patch in ntbuild.bat. [15:40:50] "Build Finished Successfully", yay. Maybe I should write up an actual step-by-step derived from my notes, and try to reproduce on a clean machine. Would such a "success experience" be best on the wiki? I'm hesitant to touch README-WINDOWS as my setup is a quick hack/build just for me setup, not one which is expected to be able to build the most portable binaries possible.
