[20:10:50] Well, I have to write it, first. ;) The main issue is that ports wants to apply ${PREFIX} substitution to the paths in it, I think, and the infrastructure is set up for that substitution to happen on something in the files/ directory of the port. Which doesn't mean an example version of it can't live elsewhere, too.
